1. Check your software version

1. Connect Mokibo to your smartphone.
2. Place the cursor where text input is possible.
3. While holding down the "fn" key, press VERSION in sequence.
4. Release the "fn" key.
5. Version information should be printed on the screen.

6. Currently the latest software version is

Latest Version: 1.26.10

If your software is not up to date, please use the following steps to upgrade to the latest software.

4. Select the file below to download.

Ver. 1.26.10

5. Choose the file you downloaded

6. Open the file using the nRf tool box.

7. Find and select "DFU" in the nRF Toolbox application

8. Go to step 9 for iPhone or step 12 for Android

Select the icon to jump to the next step. 

9. Set Mokibo to software update mode.

1. While holding down the "fn" key, press UPDATE in sequence.

2. When the "fn" key is released, the four LEDs will blink twice.

3. When the four LEDs blink twice, the update mode has been successfully set.

4. If the LED does not blink, please try again.

10. Connect the Mokibo (for iPhone)

1. Go to the nRF toolbox application,

2. Select the "Connect" button

3. Find and select "Mokibo update". 

4. If you can't find "Mokibo update", close and reopen the Mokibo cover and repeat step 9 and step 10 again. 

11. Update Mokibo (for iPhone)

1. Select the latest software file. 

2. Select "Update"

   3. Wait for the update to finish. 

   4. When the update is finished, one LED of Mokibo turns white for about 10 seconds.

   5. Occasionally, your LED may start to slowly turn green. Wait until the four LEDs turn blue.

   6. Close your smart cover and reopen it again. 

   7. Try step 1 to check the software version.

Congratulations!! The update has been performed successfully.

12. Select file (for Android)

1. Select the "SELECT FILE". 

2. Select "Distribution packet(ZIP)" and select "OK"

3. Select the left menu button. 

4. Select the "recent" button.

   5. Choose the downloaded the latest software file.

   6. Select "All" and select "OK"

13. Set Mokibo to software update mode.

1. While holding down the "fn" key, press UPDATE in sequence.

2. When the "fn" key is released, the four LEDs will blink twice.

3. When the four LEDs blink twice, the update mode has been successfully set.

4. If the LED does not blink, please try again.

14. Connect the Mokibo (for Android)

1. Go to the nRF toolbox application.

2. Select the "SELECT DEVICE" button

3. Find and select "Mokibo update". 

4. If you can't find "Mokibo update", close and reopen the Mokibo cover and repeat step 13 and step 14 again. 

15. Update Mokibo (for Android)

1. Select the "UPLOAD" button.

   2. Wait for the update to finish. 

   3. When the update is finished, one LED of Mokibo turns white for about 10 seconds.

   4. Occasionally, your LED may start to slowly turn green. Wait until the four LEDs turn blue.

   5. Close your smart cover and reopen it again. 

   6. Try step 1 to check the software version.
